Leren & Ontwikkelen

De slogan van ons netwerk luidt 'Samen kennis maken, delen, en toepassen'. Om samen de ouderenzorg te ondersteunen in innoveren, delen we nieuw ontwikkelde kennis in de vorm van verschillende kennisproducten en onderwijs met de beroepspraktijk en met studenten. Bovendien bieden we ondersteuning bij implementatie. Met de jaarlijkse UNC-ZH Stimuleringssubsidie en het platform voor academische verpleegkunde stimuleren wij innovatie in de beroepspraktijk.

Interventions

An intervention is a - theoretically and practically well thought-out - systematic approach to prevention, support, and help with specific risks and problems in order to improve the functioning and quality of life of (a group of) frail older persons. For example, in the focus area 'Interventions', interventions may focus on behaviour, but also on daily operational activities, or may be part of a change process aimed at older people, relatives and staff.

FIT-HIP

Fear of falling InTervention in HIP-fracture geriatric rehabilitation. This study evaluates the effectiveness, feasibility, and costs of a multi-component cognitive behavioural intervention programme aimed at reducing fear of falling after hip fracture.

Namaste Care Family program

The Namaste Care Family Program focuses on improving the quality of life of nursing home residents with dementia and their relatives by making meaningful connections. Healthcare professionals deliver the program together with volunteers and family.

Vitality Garden

What is the effect of garden use on quality of life (QoL) and behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) in people living with dementia in nursing homes? A dissertation on the effect of garden use and the implementation of garden use in the daily life of people living with dementia in nursing homes.
